K-12 Title IX Level 2: Informal Resolution Officer TrainingĀ
Informal resolution can provide a flexible, less adversarial option for resolving certain Title IX matters while preserving educational access and supporting the needs of all parties involved. This advanced-level training course is designed for those who wish to serve as Informal Resolution Officers or Facilitators. Participants will examine the requirements and limitations of the informal resolution process, explore facilitation techniques and best practices, and learn how to guide parties toward voluntary, mutually acceptable resolutions. Through practical examples and real-world scenarios, learners will develop the skills needed to facilitate conversations impartially, identify areas of agreement, document resolutions effectively, and support fair, compliant outcomes under Title IX.
